Mr. Trehern is a native of Pascagoula, Mississippi. He graduated with a General Business Degree from Mississippi College in 1969. After graduation, Mr. Trehern was a teacher and coach at both the high school and middle school levels.

Mr. Trehern was employed with First Federal Savings and Loan (Pascagoula). As Senior Vice President, Mr. Trehern’s duties included supervision of lending and human resource functions. After twelve years with First Federal Savings and Loan, he left to enter private business. Mr. Trehern has owned and operated numerous businesses and was associated with JC Bradford’s corporate finance department.

In 1988, Mr. Trehern was one of four founding partners of Skyler Mississippi and served as President and CEO until 1994 when it became Delta Health Group. Delta Health Group is a long-term care company that operates in Mississippi, Alabama and Florida.

Over the years, the company has expanded to include the areas of therapy, pharmacy, hospice, medical supply and other ancillary businesses. Throughout this expansion, Delta Health Group has achieved annual revenues in excess of $350 million with a staff of 6,000 employees. Mr. Trehern served on the Mississippi State Nursing Home Board and he continues to be involved in local community and church activities. In recent years, he has been active in real estate development.
