Transaction Account Guarantee
Charter Bank is participating in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Under that program, through December 31, 2010, all noninterest-bearing transaction accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account. Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act
Effective December 1, 2009, banks are required to notify their commercial customers of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006 and Federal Regulation GG. Banks will be prohibited from processing restricted transactions through any account or relationship.  Restricted transactions are transactions in which a person accepts credit, funds, instruments or other proceeds from a third party in connection with unlawful Internet gambling.
